With the advent of computers and the number of hours we work (or play) on them, our necks really take a "beating"....and of course many neck injuries occur from accidents or sports, or just plain "life" happens - arthritis is one of those "life changes" that can really affect not only your neck, but your whole body. Cervical support is critical.
Other Uses
The way you use it is different also; instead of using it in the traditional way by "wrapping" it around your neck, my pillow works best by putting it behind your neck with the "arms" pointing up to create a cradle for your head wile supporting your neck; this also helps to keep your head from sliding sideways and crimping your neck. I've designed this pillow with strategic and critical stitching to keep the fiberfill from shifting, thus ensuring maximum support for your neck.
For this reason it is great for children in car seats - used the same way.
If you sleep on your side you can use it the same way (under your neck with the "arms" pointing upwards) by creating a "cradle" for that side of our head while still supporting your neck.
Also with this unique design you can use it when lying on your side, wrapping it around your knees, to ease the stress on your hips and lower back.
I have several different designs (florals, stripes and solid colors) and the pillows are a cotton blend for easy laundering and filled with hypoallergenic fiberfill. Please specify the design you prefer.
